What Anonym dislikes about Step Inn:
If you like live music and lots of fun on a Saturday night this is a great spot. The food is always enjoyable. The steak on the stone cannot be beaten. There is the lounge if you want a more pubby feel and if you want something a bit more restaurant like there is the stone grill which has the same great menu. If steak isn't your thing there are loads of other options, the rotisserie chicken is always a winner. The cu... View all feedback.
The food was well presented and looked great, but as far as taste went it didn't quite hit the great standard, but it was definitely good and tasted nice. The Service hit a home run and ticked the amazing box with plenty of nice friendly and attentive waitresses that where good at their job. The owner can be proud of his staff. As far as value for money gos I'd say the starters we had where on average about €2 over priced, the main courses where priced about right no issues there and the deserts were similar to the starters and about €2 too much for what they were. It Wouldn't have made a big difference to our bill considering it was over €700 but I did feel for the size of the starters and deserts that they were not quite worth the price being asked. The Drinks were fine and priced around were youd expect in a Dublin pub. The pubs decor was nice looking and well laid out. Unfortunately the toilets stunk but to be fair they did look reasonably clean. The pubs atmosphere was great and the music was good, So we settled the bill and stayed around and had another good few drinks at the bar brining the final cost to around the €900 mark so as I said above the few euro on the starters and deserts didnt really make much of a difference but I felt that the starters and deserts need to up the game abit to command their price or knock a euro or two off them.
Nice staff, busy but friendly. We only had Chicken wings. Ask for the Crispy ones. Tasty. The Guinness was as good as it was 10 years ago on my last visit. Back again soon.
Exceptional pub. If only the service and professionalism was as consistent in the UK. We always pay a visit when we are over!!
Great pub with great service and food with a lovely atmosphere and music at the weekend and a lovely pint of Guinness especially in the bar tip don't go if utd are playing it can get animated
