I enjoyed the battered chicken, dal, rice, naan, and lassi at this restaurant - all were authentic and delicious. The meal came to about 41 euros and was enough for two servings for one person. I will definitely be returning to try more dishes.
I had a great experience having lunch at this cozy family-owned restaurant. The special lunch menu was expansive and offered at a very competitive price. The flavors in the dishes were exceptional, especially the fresh and well-cooked lamb and chicken. The service was both friendly and attentive. Overall, it was an excellent meal and I will definitely return. However, there is room for improvement in terms of the overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
Outstanding Indian cuisine. I talked with the chef asking for recommendations and he went into great detail about a few of his specialties. He asked for my preferences in spices and flavors and then gave me a sample of what he came up with for me. I ended up getting the lamb rogan josh with the sauce tweaked to my liking. The lamb was super tender, not too fatty, and full of pungent Indian flavor. Samosas were home made and very good. Naan and rice were great. Quality seems to be a big deal here and the chef wants to please. Prices were very reasonable and service was fast for takeout. Would definitely come here again any time I'm in the area!
Ravi's is my top 5-star Indian restaurant in Dublin so far. The prices are very reasonable, with a two-dish deal for just €10, which was more than enough for me. The food tastes incredible, and the owner mentioned that if we preferred less spice, they could make the dishes milder since everything is made from scratch. The only downside was the price of the premium Indian beer at €8.20, although it was excellent.
I've visited Ravi's multiple times since moving to Dublin, and I can honestly say it's one of the friendliest eateries around. The food is consistently delicious, with a great selection of special vegetarian dishes to choose from. Their lamb and chicken dishes are excellent as well. If you prefer non-alcoholic drinks, be sure to try the Kingfisher beer or the refreshing mango yogurt smoothie. Also, don’t miss out on asking about their secret specials for a delightful surprise!
