This location had an Apache Pizza inside, but it was disappointing to find that they couldn’t get the pizza right. It’s pizza, after all! While I wouldn’t say it was a complete disaster, the meat pizza was incredibly bland. How does one manage to make pizza taste so dull? You have cheese and meat, which are usually salty, yet somehow it ended up tasting like cardboard. The pizza reminded me of the low-quality stuff I had in elementary school: it had questionable bread, a watery ketchup-like sauce, and fake white cheese with some green Italian herbs thrown in. My Apache pizza was just as unsatisfying. On the bright side, I found that cold pizza tends to taste better after a couple of days in the fridge, but I won't be coming back here again.
Inedible. Tasteless. More precisely, everything had an overwhelming sickly sweet or sour flavor, no matter what we ordered.
The restaurant has changed ownership, and it's not quite what I remembered from my earlier visits. My last experience wasn't great, but I decided to give it another chance. The addition of Apache pizzas to the menu is an interesting twist; though I can't really judge since I'm not a huge fan of their pizzas. I opted for something from the Asian menu today and went with the Sichuan house special; I have to say, it was a good choice!
