Description

This Moroccan restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. While some diners found the food to be average and overly sweet, others praised the delicious dishes and fantastic value. The ambience is consistently highlighted, transporting guests to Morocco. Service quality varies, with some praising the friendly and efficient staff while others complain about long wait times and unprofessional behavior. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential, with a focus on marking allergens on the menu and offering tasty, well-seasoned dishes. It's a hit-and-miss experience that may improve with time.

I have been to this restaurant many times and love the decor, food and ambience. The staff too are always lovely. Last night I was there with a large group of 23. The staff could not have looked after us better than they did, from communication beforehand to service on the night, they were a joy to deal with at every step. Highly recommend for large groups or for a more intimate night out.

We started with a selection of dips with pita bread. The server gave a good explanation of what were the dips and definitely a learning experience for me. Of course I have to go with the lamb tajine. Taste was good but meat was still a bit tough. Nice atmosphere for dining and socialising. Good location too, heart of the city center.

It was okay but that was all. It looks a bit tired and scruffy. A new waitress was being trained and the person training her was doing a terrible job. Totally disinterested. We ordered the food as an appetiser. They weren’t appetising, they looked and tasted as if they were out of a jar. The mains were much better. We both had tagines. Big portions and lots of flavour. My land was lovely and tender. The mocktails were okay but 90% ice so not actually a lot to drink. A strong smell of stale smoke from downstairs, where the bathrooms were. It was all a bit meh.
