No staff cleaning any of the tables at all throughout the night.

We had booked in with a groupon voucher and... read more Came here for Valentine's Day with my partner. Booked a table on the 7th of February a week before Valentine's Day. We had booked in with a groupon voucher and when we got there we gave our name and we're seated right beside the door in close range with several other couples. We overheard one of the couples saying they asked to move but were told no. We were clearly just put there for passers by to think it was busy inside. Every time the door opened we got a cold breeze so basically we were cold most of the night. There were loads of empty seats down the back which looked nice, but people just walking in with no reservation were more than welcome to these yet having a booking a week in advance got us a **** table at the front. The food was nice but took ages to come out. When paying the bill for drinks my boyfriend handed the tray and money to the barman instead of leaving it on the table he was asked why he was giving it to him??? Very unpleased with the experience won't be back.

However, when we arrived at... read more We had made a group reservation for my 21st birthday for 10-15 people. We were told we could arrive at 11pm and had paid a deposit. However, when we arrived at 10:30pm, we were denied entry by the bouncers with no explanation. They were incredibly rude. I asked to speak to the manager about my deposit, but even he was rude. His name is Dave Brown and he was lacking in manners and communication skills. He refused to acknowledge the booking but was quick to take the deposit. I would not recommend this place as the staff are unwelcoming and rude. Stay away from this place!

The first visit was around the 20th, and when we asked about the food menu, my friend was told by the bartender that they didn't serve food. This was surprising to us since we had ordered a platter there before and wanted to order it again. We ended up going next door to Eddie Rockets for food, where the service was friendly. Disappointed but enjoying the drinks, we returned for NYE. We tried to reserve a table for 9 people as instructed on the website but only received an automated email. We called three times but didn't get a response, which was very poor service. When we arrived early on NYE, the place was empty and we discovered that they still didn't serve food, despite it being advertised on the website and social media. We were told by the same bartender that it was a mistake on the website. We were happy to give our business to Eddie Rockets again, as they were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, when we returned to the restaurant, we found it empty with plenty of staff behind the bar. I ordered a gin cocktail and was shocked to find flies in my drink. When my boyfriend complained, the bartender didn't seem to care and offered to make another drink without even providing a clean glass. When we asked for a new glass, we were told they didn't have any more. The customer service and hygiene standards were very low, as the place smelled of sickness and urine. It was a completely disgusting experience, and we are now grateful that we didn't order food there. None of the staff seemed knowledgeable about the drinks, and their forgetfulness and lack of cleanliness were unacceptable. We were very disappointed with this place and will not be returning.
