The portion... read more I understand that I received a low rating, but I want to emphasize that the staff was attentive and friendly. The management seemed very laid-back. The portion sizes were decent, but the food was oily and left us feeling unwell. There were mosquitoes everywhere and no effort was made to keep them away from customers. Both my partner and I were disappointed. Requiring double vaccination to enter is insensitive to those who have not been vaccinated, although I appreciate that the restaurant still accommodated them by offering takeout. However, excluding them rather than sectioning off a separate area or requiring masks is discriminatory. There was no relief from the hot weather (no fan or AC). Thank you for having us.

We stayed on powered site with our caravan. Great pizza meal. Best thing was the company of the staff and locals and travellers, well a total of 7 of us. Typical country pub , great atmosphere. Van park is a little...basic, but powered site with water for $20 per night. We will come back should we travel this way again.

Excellent service and a wonderful dinner with beautiful barramundi the best we have had in Queensland! as well as home made mashed potatoes. The...bonus was camping out the back, an excellent stopover.
