Description

The restaurant offers surprisingly good savory food, but desserts can be hit or miss. The noisy environment allows for interesting conversations to be overheard. The coffee is very expensive, but the space is great for work or meetings. While some customers miss the previous management, others still appreciate the changing daily stewp and seasonal specials. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making it a good spot for catching up with friends or getting some work done.

Used to frequent Science Gallery weekly over the years hands down they had the best coffee/pastries in the area! Great space for getting work done in the evening or for meetings over coffee. However massively disappointed today! Was aware Cloud Picker had moved across the street but didn't think Science Gallery would suffer so much from it. Pitiful selection of pastries and cakes, and very sparse breakfast/lunch menu. There was about 5 people including myself present for the times I was there, but was left waiting 15 mins for my coffee as they didn't know what table it was for.... Yes prices have gone down SLIGHTLY but anyone I know who's been here since the change in management say the same thing, we'd rather pay a bit more for the previous quality. The cafe is an amazing space and a great opportunity which is going completely to waste with the current management!!! Mourning the loss of the old science gallery.

Spacious, modern café ideal for popping in for a coffee and a catch up. Even suitable for business meetings, have been multiple times for a quick drink and a chat!

This restaurant used to be a popular spot for lunch, but I have noticed a decline in quality over the past few years, so I stopped coming here regularly. However, my husband and I decided to give it another try this week and were left disappointed. I ordered the lunch special, which included soup, a banana, and a toastie. The soup was too salty and the sandwich was disappointing, with a small amount of cheese and a thin slice of tomato that lacked flavor. My husband ordered a cake and coffee, but he found the cake to be dry and the coffee unappealing. Overall, the food seemed more like cafeteria food at restaurant prices. If you're looking for lunch near Trinity campus, The Buttery would be a more affordable and tastier option.

Have eaten here loads of times and always leave happy. I'm a huge fan of the stewp which changes daily. Also love the seasonal specials. The coffee is always good and it's always service with a smile. Great staff very friendly. Good spot to catch up with friends or if you have a spot of work to do or a meeting they are happy to have you as long as you are ordering something from the menu.

We came in a group and initially found the savoury food here very nice, surprising good for what at first looks like a soup and toasties sort of place. Starters and mains were good. However, desserts were a bit hit and miss. I enjoyed my lemon posset, which was creamy and very tasty. However, everyone else got a huge slab of what looked like oats in caramel with a marscapone cream, which sounds like a bad idea, or at least should be served in miniature form, sans the cheesy cream which was a nasty surprise to most...
