The service w... read more We were staying in the hostel above this cosy little pub and so decided to pop in expecting some pretty basic food, but were pleasantly surprised. The service was super friendly and helpful and the low lighting and candles made for a really warm atmosphere....The restaurant was busy with groups of people but the food came quickly and was excellent. The Schnitzel was the best thing I ate on the trip and the goulash was really tasty too. Booze was reasonably priced. We went down the next morning for breakfast which was also really good!

Even though we were a large party, everything was served perfectly. Vegetarian options are good, and the sorbet with pepper is a must.

A short walk minutes) from the river and hidden in the backyard of another house we found the entrance. Found a nice spot to have a meal outside in the nice weather. Ordered beer and...food. Beer came quick but food took it’s time. Everything tasted nice and we would consider coming back for the atmosphere.

However, many of the main courses (which were the reason we came) were unavailable, and this was on a Saturday evening. I had the vegan lentil ragout, which was very tasty, even though the potatoes were a little undercooked. The service was excellent, and our dessert was also delicious.
