It looks like an intimate dining sp... read more What a massive disappointment Homage was! It's housed in a gorgeous building, with lovely dining rooms and nice decorations. It looks like an intimate dining space and promises homely German cuisine just like Oma used to make. Well, we learned about Oma alright...! Oma's food...is grossly overcooked! Fish was inedible, pork was tough as old boots, peas (frozen were disgusting. Oma lives in the past. No credit card facilities. Cash only. Oma must be huge, or her kids were. Serving portions were enormous! Way too much. Especially considering the food was so bad. In summary, we felt totally ripped off. The worst meal in Germany by far. Don't waste your time there are lots of other restaurants nearby. In hindsight we should have gone to the restaurant next door to Homage...!

My sauerbraten with dumplings and red cabbage was good, but the meat was tough and, most importantly for a sauerbraten, the sauce was practically nonexistent. My friend's redfish with noodles was under-seasoned and the fish wasn't cooked through.
