I have to say neither restaurants were disappointing, but the little thing B&B did hit the right spots. The amuse bouche set our expectations for the courses to come. The sommelier recommended an organic Chardonnay from Germany - it left a very favorable and flavorful impression! The courses that came did not disappoint - to me, there is just that edge in the chef's poise and the overall execution at B&B over its other starred rival. I found this menu more exciting than the previous night's. And, i eagerly anticipate the next visit. To me, that is the deciding edge in a fairly close run race. The service is impeccable and the overall ambiance is stylishly casual. A very enjoyable evening!
