Originally foamy interior very woody. Soljanka tastes fabulous, the sausage meat even better...
Since we had good experiences with the pub in the past, after 2 years we wanted to spend a cozy evening with friends there. After some waiting period the orders were received. In the menu it is pointed out that good food lasts a while. During the waiting period, we literally sat on the dry as there was nothing to see from the operation far and wide. When after over 1 hour our food finally came, the SCHOCK!! Cold, hard frying potatoes, fades frozen vegetables, mini carvings and tough steaks. Because of our immense hunger and after the long waiting period, we looked back and were pleased with what we were doing. Unfortunately, it was not restaurant-worthy, so I expect a snack no longer to be compared to earlier. Then the owner appeared and entered the state of the flesh and put us as a liar. We then dispensed with the offered liquor or coffee. During the toilet walk, I noticed that the service had nothing better to do than to hail our complaint with other guests. After having taken a rest after another zigarette break, we talked to them about their behaviour. Of course, she enters this and began to insult us most badly. You are not a king here.... You get out of here and you'll have a ban on home right now... if you're not satisfied with your life, you shouldn't go to the public. These were just some of their sentences. Such a behavior is not at all possible and should draw conclusions from the superior. This woman is unreasonable as a service. All this has actually happened and the other guests are our witnesses, even they will not forget this situation so quickly.
The “Astloch” is located, surrounded by the Stadteilen Neugruna, Striesen and Blasewitz, in a very favourable location in a popular residential area and can be easily reached by public transport (Altenberger Straße stop). The audience is pleasant and comes mainly from the surrounding area. Whether in cold in the original guest room or in the shaded garden, the “Astloch” is very well suited to enjoy its evening beer in a cozy ambience. The Dresdner Platzhirschen Feldschlößchen and Radeberger are fortunately available on the beverage card. For this, there are several good and tasty beer beers at a reasonable price (3,60 € – 3,90 € for 0.5l. If you are not a beer drinker, you should find the vine card that is manageable but also sufficient, even if it has only a small purse (3,90 € 5,70 € for 0.2l. In addition, the “Astloch” offers an appropriate selection of spirits, including a simple but rather tasty fruit brandy from the Williams pear for little money (under 4 € for 4cl . The menu is typical of pubs very meaty and offers no surprises. Vegetarians will have a bit heavy and vegans must starve here. But the typical “Astloch” audience certainly does not expect a herbarium. Overall prices are lower. After having been here several times for the evening beer, I ordered the “homemade sülze with Remoulade and Bratkartoffeln” on my last visit. Identifying the marking in the map, the court is “enriched” with four additives, which says that the individual parts are not all self-made, but are only partly and in the house. However, the “composition” was fine even if the roast potatoes could have been a bit crispy and less oily. However, the food did not show any deficiencies that justified a serious complaint. However, it was not so good that a special praise would have been appropriate. Solid average, which does not give any reason to come back here. The price for the bead is not exceptionally cheap but acceptable at €9.70 for a pub and the alleged use of goods. I have always experienced the service personnel as cumbersome, attentive, friendly and fast. Only during my last visit did the waitresses temporarily seem somewhat absent and did not react to Winken. When we wanted to pay, both services had disappeared together for smoking, which is why we had to look for them. Because I myself was a strong smoker for decades, I have a full understanding of it and it is not bad in a district pub. On the other hand, it is not exactly beneficial to take the step from “satisfactory” to “good” when evaluating. Even if the food didn't blow me away from the stool, I will definitely visit the “Astloch” again and recommend it, because overall a decent gastronomic performance is offered at reasonable prices and a good beer is crawled in a pleasant atmosphere.
