We were ushered into a seating area adjacent to the outside terrace, bedecked with flowers and endowed with views of stunning landscapes. We were treated to aperitifs as we waited. As we began to eat in the dining area, we enjoyed the classic decor and attentive service. The food was exquisite, prepared and seasoned with great culinary expertise. This is an unobtrusive restaurant in an understated town. Go and enjoy both.

I'm not sure why it wasn't more busy as it was an amazing place with impeccable service with the little extras thrown in and the best food I've had all holiday. My kids loved the Bolognese pasta soup!

The food is some of the best I've had in all Italy and the view from the outside terrace overlooking the valley is really quite something. It must be expensive thought right? No not really, you pay a lot more in most big European cities. Parking can be difficult so plan ahead!

I had sea bass for secondi piatti which was well cooked. Sampled franciacorta rose for the first time (made same way as champagne) and I would like more! The meal wasn't cheap but well worth it.
