The Ship - Downtown Kansas City

What a bunch of jerks. This place sucks. So rude. The servers actively hate being at work. And it isn’t one of those “rude servers are funny” places where it is part of the experience. No it is just awful.

Such an amazing atmosphere and concept, definitely unexpected after driving through the area! Drinks were great, service top-notch, and I loved that there is plenty of space for people to spread out.

My girlfriends wine glas had two sets of old lipstick on it.

I had the shrimp roll. It has a nice spicy Buffalo and shrimp was breaded and crunchy. The bread was overwhelming so I ended up eating just the shrimp when I was half way done with the sandwich. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese. It was good for a side, very creamy and smoky but not very cheesy. I wouldn't order that as a full entree. I loved that it was decorated to make it feel you were on a ship. Great place go check out if you need a place to eat and sit down at west bottoms.

Super fun spot. Staff are phenomenal and very polite. The food was fine but that's not really what this spot is for. The drinks were great! This place is huge with many different rooms. Nicely decorated with fun ship decor and dim lightingIt's in the west bottoms and you definitely won't think you're in the right place if you've never been over there before.
