The restaurant has a charming exterior and a spacious and cozy interior. The menu offers a good variety of options. As someone who isn't a fan of chicken, it can be difficult to find something I would enjoy at some restaurants, but that's not a problem here.
The Gammon Steak I ordered was very disappointing - I received two small pieces of overcooked ham on a plate with a side of fries. It was a sad looking meal, to say the least. There are many other restaurants that deserve our business more than this one. The staff was informed of our dissatisfaction before we left.
I had a great meal here last summer for Saturday lunch in a busy bar, so I decided to come back again. I was surprised to find the bar practically empty this time, and now I understand why. The food was barely edible, so I definitely won't be returning.
Had a really nice meal and a cold pint of Guinness 2 Adults and 2 kids...Food was Amazing. We were stuck in traffic most of the day and we called into Maginns Bar last minute...really best decision of the Easter Monday. Staff were very friendly,orders were quickly taken...food was hot and tasty.Bill was very reasonable too.10/10 from us....we will be back
We popped in for Sunday lunch today , wow the food and service were 5*,we both had turkey and ham , highly recommended Felt totally safe as this has been our first time dining out in so long Well done maginns will be back next Sunday
