What Chelsea M R R doesn't like about Broadway Cafe:
My partner and I went to the restaurant today and sat at a table where we could see five young girls working. The smell of food lured me in from the street.. this cafe opened in the 1930’s and had kept its charm. Staff were lovely on arrival. Food is so tasty, just basic but done well. We came back two days in a row. Coffee is done right and the milkshakes are old style nostalgia!!! Doggy friendly cafe. Will be back, thank you!! View all feedback.

read moreNestled in the heart of Newcastle, this restaurant presents a mixed bag of dining experiences. While some guests reminisce fondly about its nostalgic charm and praise the friendly atmosphere, others have expressed disappointment with quality and service. Menu items, such as goujons, were criticized for inconsistencies in temperature and clarity about included sides. The decor feels dated, and the coffee has earned disdain for its poor taste. However, there are still redeeming qualities in simple, well-prepared meals and a dog-friendly vibe. Overall, diners are left divided, indicating room for improvement to elevate the establishment's reputation.
