The service was top-notch, the meal was enjoyable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a dinner outing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The price per person was between £20-30. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

Th... read more I can't praise this charming family restaurant enough. The cozy top lounge bar is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy a pre-dinner drink, and browse the menu. The food is exceptional, the welcome is always warm, and the staff go above and beyond to ensure a great dining experience. The Fish of the Day dish is a standout favorite. Niall always goes out of his way to make sure we have a wonderful family meal. It's our Mum's top choice for dinner, even at the age of 94!

It's rare to have such a great start and not be disappointed by the main courses, but at Aldo's, the monkfish curry was perfect and the Cajun hake stole the spotlight due to the high quality of the fish. The servers were friendly and helpful. Aldo's is clearly a favorite among locals, but it's definitely worth traveling to Ardglass just to dine there.
