Paninis are not cooked in the oven. And when she mentioned to the girl, she explained that they are all cooked now when I went away to imitate her, she as I said paninis are being pressed. If you do not want to do Paninis properly, do not call them paninis, they are just regular sandwiches. Panera was very sad. It used to be my way, but not anymore..

I only gave it 1... read more This restaurant has significantly declined in quality. The portions are smaller, prices are higher, and the service is practically nonexistent. I only gave it 1 star because there was barely any service at all. The cashier suggested that I order online or use the kiosk instead of her taking my order, claiming she was too busy. The salad I received was just a sad handful of wilted lettuce.

The Fontega "panini" I had was the worst I've ever tasted from here. Paninis should be pressed, not baked in the oven. When I brought this up to the staff, the girl informed me that their cooking method has changed. As I left, I overheard them mocking my comment about how paninis should be made. If you can’t prepare them properly, don’t call them paninis—just refer to them as regular sandwiches. It’s really disappointing to see Panera declining. This used to be my favorite place, but that's no longer the case.

The portion sizes were small, and the food lacked flavor. Instead, I recommend visiting the Panera in the Market Basket Plaza on Woodbury Ave in Newmarket, NH. I've always had a great meal there and have never been disappointed.
