What Fu L doesn't like about St. Bess Finest Cuisine:
This place is okay depending on your mood. People there are not really inviting but that is the same at any Caribbean establishment. The food is nothing to write about but edible. View all feedback.
Best Oxtail in town. I love my aunties they're so accommodating especially for my last minute self.

Amazing people. Super kind and food is always seasoned well they not stingy or mean when you want extra gravy either) and consistent. My favorite soup is served On Friday only. Jerk chicken and curry chicken is my favorite but everything is good to me. They have great bread pudding as well- not too sweet and tastes good with hot tea… I had to add to my review after reading a negative comment- Guys, let’s be mindful to uphold and encourage our community businesses that try hard to provide exceptional services and goods/foods. St. Bess over the years has made changes/upgrades to the restaurant/menu and added accommodations just for the customers. St. Bess is so much like family and I don’t even have to go inside and still feel the love from them as a patron. My daughter will literally go get my food or on Friday go get my soup, and they will have it ready for me without her asking, or sometimes, I have even called knowing I’m getting off late, and they have saved me some with no problem! This type of service is hard to come by. I love this place and will continue to support them. No business is perfect and everyone will have a bad day once in a while. Let’s be a voice of cheer and encouragement/support when writing these reviews and if anything happens that you are not fond of during your visit, address it in the building and see how it’s handled first before you reach out to the whole internet with a bad review. Most times, the situation is not deserving of such an attitude. Thank you St. Bess. I am half Puerto Rican and Geechee from SC and have Jamaican family and kid- my palate is well informed of good tasting food cooked with soul and great spirit and this place has that. Now go get a plate. And to anyone who has experienced anything less than 5 stars, I encourage you to try them once more. God Bless you All.
First time coming the Curry chicken with rice peas cabbage was really tasty. The Curry sauce is good the rice peas were really fresh...I will try the jerk chicken next....you gotta customer for sure..thank
The best Jamaican food in Douglas County!! Not only are the ladies who work here amazing, but the food is so delicious. You get a heaping amount of food (usually enough for two meals) that is seasoned perfectly. The prices are outstanding, about 1/3rd less than most of the competitors. You just can't beat the brown stew chicken, the collard greens, or the plantains. This is my go-to place for Caribbean food.
