I understand that it can get busy and that staff may need some time, but waiting 15 minutes for drinks on two separate occasions is a bit excessive.

There wa... read more The service at the bar was alarmingly slow; it felt like my cocktail order had been neglected. I had to get the hostess involved to check on it for me. There was only one waitress managing the entire restaurant, which probably contributed to the delays. As for the food, it was disappointing at best, with most dishes served barely warm. My mac and cheese was actually cold, and the cheese wasn’t melted properly. Overall, I ended up eating very little and took the rest home. If I'm in Montgomery again, I wouldn't choose to eat here. On a positive note, my waitress was polite and handled the situation well, given the circumstances.

When we arrived, the host informed us that there would be a 25-minute wait for a table, despite the fact that the restaurant was mostly empty. Shortly after, three individuals walked in, who I later learned worked at Piggly Wiggly. The host told them the same wait time, but then seated them before my son and me at a table in the bar area. This struck me as poor customer service; it's frustrating to be told there’s a wait only to see others being seated ahead of us. I understand that many restaurants are dealing with staffing issues, but that doesn’t excuse the inconsistency in service.
