Have heard many great things from others so we went to try. Great BYOB too! Many choices in appetizers, soups to main meals! They have great lunch specials too that are not expensive!We chose the Combo Built your way for 2-you get 2 soups; 2 appetizers; 2 meals ; 1 vegetable dish and steamed rice for $40.95! Great deal. What User doesn't like about EMERAUDE DE BANGKOK:
They title themselves Bangkok Emerald, however, 90% of the dishes on offer are Cantonese and Sechuan. Barely two soups and half a dozen main courses were Thai. The Tom Yum soup was good; the service was acceptable, however the flavor profiles of the four main dishes sampled were uninspired - flat - and the Sechuan dishes had no zip.OK for a mid-week meal out, but for REAL Thai dishes, search elsewhere. Tasty thai and schezuan dishes, not too salty ! We tried the pad thai chicken (kids loved it), the combo menu for 2 (2 soups/2 appetizers/1 veggie dish/2 main dishes)n and added extra 2 dishes. The main dishes were pepper and salth shrimp, orange beef, yellow curry and chicken veggie dish.
Happening atmosphere lots going on the sizzler to the table next to us caught alot of attention !! Delightful menu the combo for 2 was great to try new things the sesame chicken was one of a kind DELICIOUS sorry no photos this time
As it being the first time coming to this restaurant, they offer a great special for 2 people! 50$ for 2! The service was a little slow, because they had a full house. However, the food was grade A ! Would recommend it for a nice Asian style resto Je me souviens
We were extremely surprised by the quality of the food, specially since their clientele are mostly Caucasian. We were 8 Chinese tourists looking for an alternative to fast food and we found a gem
Food was tasty delicious with pretty presentation. It is BYOW. Saturday night very busy, large parties Service is slowwww patience a must! Would definitely go back. Staff friendly.
