Feedback
This charming village restaurant delivers fresh and tasty food, despite some portion size issues. The Michelin Bib holder may have fallen slightly short of expectations, with service being rushed at times. However, the staff remained pleasant and courteous. Despite a few hiccups, the seafood dishes were described as "sensational." The warm and welcoming ambiance, along with friendly service, make it a recommended spot for all occasions. Some diners found the waitresses to be overly attentive, while others praised the delicious food and generous portions. Overall, this restaurant offers a delightful dining experience worth a visit.
What a wonderful location! My experience during the Doonbeg Jazz Festival was exceptional. The staff were fantastic - so friendly and courteous! The band, Jazzlite, was very talented. The atmosphere was cozy and intimate. I will definitely return next year!
My family recently had Sunday lunch at this restaurant. Although the food was fresh and tasty, we found the portion sizes to be quite small. The butter chicken rice felt more like a starter. The blade of beef was also on the small side. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived, but the staff seemed rushed. However, our server was very pleasant and courteous. One female staff member was a bit abrupt when informing us that we needed to move as the table was needed for the next reservation (which wasn't an issue as we had already finished by then). There was no mention of a time limit when we made the reservation. The restaurant is situated in a charming village. Despite having a Michelin Bib, we were slightly disappointed with our lunch experience. It may have been a one-time occurrence, as can happen in any restaurant, but we won't be eager to return at the moment.
Food was only OK...definitely drop in standards!!! Pity.
We had a very pleasant meal here, one steak one fish. Service was lovely, efficient and timed well. We had a table with children next to us and contrary to other reviews the children were treated well. Would return
Pricing is fine... professional staff...kind and nice...broad portfolio...
