I was sad to see the Captain D’s shut down in my local area, so seeing that there was one in Doniphan was a treat! Layla took our group’s order. She offered some great advice on what meal to choose from. Throughout the whole dining experience she made sure we were taken care of. She even went out of her way to clear our finished plates and trash once we were done with them. I’d definitely recommend Captain D’s for anyone who loves seafood. Give Layla a raise! ?

I've heard from several current and former employees about some troubling sanitary conditions being overlooked by the owner, who seems more focused on hastening orders than ensuring a safe and quality product. I’d choose fresh catfish or Long John Silver’s over this place any day. On a positive note, aside from Miss Hunt, the staff is consistently attentive, friendly, and helpful.
