What Shana O'Hara likes about Casa Alvarez:
Good Mexican food for a real decent price. These ppl know how to make red sauce right. Very busy so that's always a good sign. Could use some fixing up in spots, but even so I'm already looking forward to eating here again next time we're in Dodge. Used a credit card here and didn't get any unusual charges that I know of so the credit card problems ppl mentioned must have taken care of themselves View all feedback. What Marcella Colombo doesn't like about Casa Alvarez:
So for Mexican food this place is just average. I placed an order over the phone and it was ready on arrival. However, there were some key components missing. One, the flour tortillas were missing from the fajitas. Two, the main meat dish was as well. Three, I’m not sure how one is supposed to eat enchiladas without a fork and spoon, but those were missing too. Small details like this are really important for takeout... View all feedback.

read moreThis Mexican restaurant offers decent food at a good price, with a strong red sauce and delicious salsa. While some minor details were lacking in takeout orders, the service was generally good. The menu features tasty options such as the fajita quesadilla and bean burrito, although some dishes like the chicken quesadilla may be hit or miss. The staff may have been a bit scattered, but overall, the experience was positive. The queso Blanco and hot sauce are recommended for a flavorful combination. Overall, the food is fresh and delicious, the service is friendly, and the dining experience is above average for a local Mexican eatery.
