I discovered that this restaurant is open on Saturdays and Sundays after Thanksgiving. I stumbled upon this hidden gem while visiting friends in the area. I have been here four times and it has been worth it every time! I have gotten to know the owner, the chef, and the staff, who are all wonderful and do an excellent job. What Secret Williams doesn't like about Mountain Eats:
At first we loved this place, as we are locals and it is nice to have food so close to home. However, recently the service is horrible and food quality has gone WAY DOWN. Came in for dinner couple weeks ago and asked to the alfredo, was told that they were all out. The people who were seated after us and their order was taken after ours was able to order the alfredo. Excellent stay in the middle of nowhere! good food, good service, reasonable price.
I found this hidden treasure while visiting friends in the area. I stopped in on a Monday a little before noon. I meet the owner and her friend who comes in to help. Very nice folks. I had the mushroom burger with wedge cut fries and a Pepsi (free refills). The food was very good and had a wonderful chat with the owner and her friend. The food is reasonably priced too. I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Mountain Eats.
Great little spot to eat! We stopped on way back from bullards bar and had a great lunch with friends! It is in a cute little campground with cabins, pool, ice-cream shop and diner. I loved everything about this little community. The food was great, staff was quick and friendly! We will be back again soon!
Amazing food, awesome location and an excellent chef.
Was camping at Lake Francis and went to Mountain Eats for dinner. We had Devin as our server. She was very friendly, polite and accommodating. We both had the prime rib dinner and it was delicious. If this restaurant was close to where we live we would probably be regulars.
