Ordered soup and meal. We got served these within moments of each other, causing our small table to be overcrowded. Do we finish our siuo and let raw fondue meat sit? We tried. Spilld. Ok, forget the soup. Fondue was ok but we felt rushed and sad about the soup. Desert was lovely, as the table was clear for that course. View all feedback.
You were here 5 times for my 2 faves-Filet and calimari! 3 times the fillet was boiled a perfect MR, boiled twice to a MW. If properly cooked (great) when overcooked (Terrible) especially when the fillet cost is close to $50.. Calimari rode well four times then boiled last time, like hard rubber bands-terrible! Me? I'm back because if it is? good it?s really good, although the next time everything I'm okay is outweigh it?s immediately returned!
We had a rehearsal dinner at Friar Tuck's and the food, service and atmosphere were far beyond what we hoped. Ken made sure that we had everything we needed during the event, and when we were looking for a venue, he was enthusiastic and worthy of our business. It showed in all the details of the evening. The waiting staff is incredible and the food is delicious. It was really an experience that we will all remember as nothing short of excellent! I've never been here and would be highly recommended for any occasion. Bravo Friar Tuck's!
If you could catch them, then you know that the waitress was beautiful and accommodated for allergies. The food was too expensive for quality. The duck was over boiled, the wine was about on its last leg before it was choked. Overall for 2 people it was $90 that is not expected in this place.
Service was excellent. We ordered educational hope to try a variety of different articles. The cheese fondue and the French onion soup were good! Unfortunately, the most important courses (primary rib and lobster tail) were up to our expectations that both came out tepid and there was a piece of plastic on the steak plate. The best part of the meal was the chocolate fondue for dessert and drinks. The price we paid $240 was not worth the food experience we have.
It was ok.My opinion the best thing about the place was the server. He was very attentive. The fondue had a little bit to much wine.
