The BEST subs in the DC/MD/VA area. This place is a hidden gem in Capitol Heights/Forestville. Quality bread, quality meats. They are no more expensive than Subway but the quality surpasses Subway. My favorite is the Corned Beef on Medium bread. Their salads are good too. View all feedback.

My husband and I have been residents of the neighborhood since 1992, and we've always loved eating at Gallo's for their delicious subs!
I've been dining at this deli since 1974, and it truly remains one of the best places to eat in the area.
The Italian sub is so delicious, it makes you want to shout for joy!
