We hadn't planned on Chinese food, but seeing this place I thought - let's give it a try - and I'm glad we did. A good variety of dishes were sampled from soup to nems and all were very good with everything freshly prepared. The fried rice was excellent (something that many places don't get right) It was quiet, clean and child friendly. Well worth a visit for a break from typical tourist fodder. View all feedback.
What Aleix Gómez doesn't like about Pekin:
Awful food and service and very expensive! When food finally came out there was nothing Chinese about it. Our dishes came out ages apart and were unrecognisable. Tasteless and sad. View all feedback.
We were looking forward to Chinese food after sampling the local cuisine for the last few days however we were truly disappointed with this restaurant. The food can be described as average at best (ready mde sauces) although the service was decent. However we found that the portions served were WAAAYY too small thus making it a VERY expensive meal!! Case in point, my 8 year old daughter was still hungry after she finished her meal :(. Be warned!

This restaurant is on a back street from the major sights for Dinan and we came about it due to a road detour. It looks a little scruffy and dated at the front but don't let looks fool you as the decor inside is lovely and atmospheric. There was only 1 other table in and it was a little cold but she put the heater on for us. No English from the lady waitress but the menu was in English. The food took a reasonable amount if time to come but when it did, yum! Dad had the sweat and sour chicken with a side of fried rice and a Chinese beer, all of which he said was great. I had the fried noodles with chicken (eg chicken chow mein in the UK). The sauce was excellent and with the broccoli smacked in it, I could of have eaten this alone! I would go back again as the food was so good, parked right outside the door too!
This is a good adress.
