Innovation Station - Dillsboro

The bartender here was a local gem. He was very friendly and welcoming. He worked the whole room effortlessly. He gave tips on where else to visit and where to eat. This should be a must stop if you are in the area. Lots of choices to please any palate.

We called in here specifically for their Irish Nitro stout. We had it last year at the Sylva branch and it was excellent. Things did not work out though. When I walked up to the bar the barman said absolutely nothing. No greeting, no hello, no smile!! Kinda odd.Our nitro stout was very disappointing. Almost no nitro. More like porter. The seating area by the river is very good. We cut our visit short.Order a different beer, hope for a better person behind the bar and relax by the river an you're probably okay!

This restaurant has an excellent variety of craft beer and the indoor and outdoor spaces are fantastic. The staff is also very friendly.

Enjoy a beer by the river, listen to the train coming and going and bring your pup too. Great atmosphere and people all around
