Sombrero Room - DILLON
Sombrero Room
Description
Set beneath a kitschy Mexican theme at the South of the Border attraction, this roadside eatery divides diners: generous portions, low prices and friendly, attentive staff earn praise, while inconsistent food quality, an unimpressive salad bar and sporadic service lapses prompt complaints. Clean, casual dining with a private room and quick refills makes it a convenient stop for families and travelers, but limited vegetarian choices and unclear Mexican offerings may disappoint expectations.

The food was horrible. Steak was just fat and disgusting over all. Broccoli was overcooked and mashed. Tried to talk to manager but my complaint was fully...
Mediocre at best, the underwhelming amount of options is sad and just boring. We finally got the chance to stop. My mother was so excited and the amount of disappointment on her face is palpable. Our waitress was super sweet and it's not her fault that the food was flavorless and cold. The only reason you're getting 3 stars instead of one star is the sweet waitress. Service: Dine in
Out of all of my visits to South Of The Border I have only ever eaten at the ice cream place, and the Hot Tamale building, so I decided to pop in here for the first time ever. It's a real surprise they don't serve Mexican food here, despite the whole Mexican theme in the entire place, but the food they do serve here is very much worth it nonetheless! I highly recommend you get the chili as well! I practically had the whole restaurant to myself, so my service was quick! There does appear to be some sort of private room for bigger groups too.
