However, I found the layout to be quite... read more I was really looking forward to trying 4B's since it was closed for all of last year and half of this year (2020|2021). However, I found the layout to be quite confusing, as there was no traditional counter; instead, you pay the waitress directly. Unfortunately, the smell in the restaurant was terrible—like sewer gas—and it permeated the entire place! I can't understand how anyone could overlook that and still enjoy a meal. Both the food and service were just average. I won't be coming back.

I explained that the speck was sti... read more When she returned a second time, the speck was still limp. She came to check on me and asked why I had pushed my plate aside. I explained that the speck was still not crispy, and now there was grease pooling over my eggs and hash browns, which were cold. I mentioned that I would never serve a plate like that to a customer. Her response was that the crispy bacon was how our customers liked it and that they eat it prepared that way. She even claimed to stand by the grill waiting to cook it. It felt like she was speaking loudly enough for others in the restaurant to hear. In the restaurant business, the customer is always right, even when they're not! Her attitude was rude, careless, and simply unhelpful. She never offered me a replacement meal; she only removed that plate from our bill. As a native Montanan with family ties in the area, I will certainly be recommending against this restaurant!
