Markoffs Haunted Forest - Dickerson
Markoffs Haunted Forest
Description
Hundred Forest turns Halloween into an immersive outdoor festival blending theatrical scares, hands-on activities and rustic comforts. Trails staffed by engaging actors lead to zip lines, axe-throwing and other thrills amid massive bonfires, pumpkin carving, s'mores, hot cider and a new bar. Friendly, professional teams, scenic grounds and nonprofit ties make it a repeatable family-and-group outing; tickets move fast and on-site food can be pricey, so plan accordingly.
Feedback
If you plan to visit, I highly recommend arriving much earlier than your ticketed time. I hope the organizers can improve the event's structure for next year, allowing attendees to actually enter at their designated times.
I had an amazing experience at this place with my friends! The trail was a lot of fun, largely due to the excellent actors, and the zipline was a thrilling adventure. I'm really excited to try the cursed village next year, and perhaps the rolling log too. If you're watching your budget, I recommend bringing your own food (although I’m not sure if outside food is allowed, so it might be better to eat afterward) so you can save your money for the thrilling activities once you're there, like axe throwing, ziplining, and the rolling log.
Very great experience here. This was one of the best Halloween experiences I’ve had. The village had several places to eat, drink, and play games. The fire pits were a great addition as well. The haunted Forrest was about 30 min long and had great jump scares. I will definitely be back next year.
This place is WILD. I honestly wasn't sure what to think, but they've really made an incredible Halloween experience. We carved pumpkins, had cider, warmed ourselves by the MASSIVE bonfires and made smores. And then got scared to death by the haunted Town and Forest trail. So elaborate and well done. Def. reccomend.
Markoff's Haunted Forest is genius. There isn't a single attraction there that will bore you. There's warm drinks for the cool weather, while you're waiting for an event. There's scare actors that will walk around in the arena area and scare you, they have amazing music playing and really nice and respectful workers. They will move everything out of the way to help you out and make sure you have a great experience. There is a zip line, food, pumpkin carving competitions, s'mores at a campfire, face painting, and so much more. I have gone 2 years in a row now and it is definitely going to be an annual event we go to. The whole environment there is so warm and welcoming. (no matter the temp outside) And it is definitely somewhere you want to spend time at during the halloween season. Very VERY recommended.
