What Jordy Nicolas doesn't like about Comus Inn At Sugarloaf Mtn:
Chill place to hang out with friends for drinks and brunch. Although there is an open area in the back with picnic tables, lawn wooden chairs by the fire-pits and open area space, they do not allow any food or beverages brought in. My friends and I didn?t know about their food policy since it was a friend?s birthday we bought a small cake?they wouldn?t let us eat it. Since we had a big group, we weren?t able to get a... One of my favorite restaurants. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, along with the staff. Amazing **** Marys! Food NIE disappointed. Your version of the BLT is the best you ever come. It is gigantic, all ingredients are fresh and complient to each other perfectly. You also have delicious chicken and waffles. Homefries are also great. If you ever have the chance, go here. 100/10!
This place is a jewel in the middle of the farm. The grounds are beautiful and beer garden is an ingenious layout with the exterior for seats, beautiful sunsets and live music. Doug was great and very attentive all the time. Seems like a fun place if you want to celebrate your birthday (like me)! We had an excellent time! My guests loved it!!! Very recommended.
Really nice area in the back (beer hall). Perfect for after hike or just get away from the city. There was a live band, table tennis, and a couple other games. They have food and alco and a separate restaurant that closes at 2pm, which is weird time. There?s lots of parking at the back as well. Edit: it isn?t a weird time. Just for mem day. Will def try the rest next time we?re in the area.
We enjoyed the coffee, avocado toast, blueberry pancakes, chicken and waffles, shrimp tacos and the salmon at brunch. All the food was amazing. I do wish for the pricing that the coffee would have been a bit larger but it was tasty and they had non dairy milk options. Their menu is lovely the outdoors had a band playing in the beer garden and plenty of tacos and snacks being served outside. The games for the kids and the fish pond is a plus. Lots of picnic style seating on the grass and walls of if necessary. The remodel of the Comus Inn has turned out beautifully. Highly recommend it.
We initially went for the Gingerbread House class, which I 100% recommend taking the course, they provide instruction and all of the materials and we plan to make it a holiday tradition. After the class we decided to order some food to go and walk around the property while it was being prepared. The entire atmosphere is adorable and there are fire pits and heaters so even in December you can comfortably site outside. We got the XXXL BLT and the Pepperoni Detroit Style Pizza. They aren't joking about the size of the BLT, and both items were delicious. We completely recommend it and will be back.
