Was Clemmie Ferry at Bua Loy a mag?

Fantastic, fresh food! The green curry is a standout favorite. The only downside is the occasional staffing shortage, but it’s absolutely worth a visit! The staff are always friendly. I do wish the portions were a bit larger for the price, but that won't deter me from supporting this wonderful restaurant!

The food here is excellent, and I can't wait to come back.

I ordered the green curry, which was spicy but not as hot as traditional Thai spice levels. At first, I was a bit disappointed by the amount of vegetables compared to the meat and broth. However, I was pleasantly surprised. After a 20-minute drive home, the food remained hot and well-presented. The curry was delicious, and the balance of vegetables to meat was enjoyable. I would have preferred a bit more pepper and onion instead of so many green beans. The spice level was perfect for someone like me who enjoys a bit of heat in their food. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend trying this restaurant. I might explore another dish next time!

My wife and I have read reviews about this Thai, Laos and Vietnamese restaurant and decided to try it. Bua Loy in Devon has an inconvenient presence, but you can feel the warmth and kindness as soon as you go through the door. We were welcomed by soft laotic music and several employees. Bua feels like a family business. Our server Brendi was friendly and knowledgeable and had suggestions about the menu. The Nam Khao Salad was a highlight of the meal and my wife's favorite dish. The homemade Laotian Sausage was delicious and filled with taste. The spring rolls were crisp with a tasteful chili diving sauce. Brendi recommended that we try the stirring fry plate Pad Ka Prow with flank steak. A combination of crispy vegetables, butter beef in a slightly tasteful broth. For Dessert we hoped to try the coconut pudding, but it wasn't on the menu, so we decided on the chocolate mousse cake, which was sinfully dark, rich and tasty. We would like to thank our server Brendi and Chef Boualoy for a wonderful experience and delicious meal!

We came here on the recommendation of a coworker when we were traveling for work. He said they are known for their clay pot biryani, so that's the main thing we came for. We shared a bunch of stuff and it ended up being way too much food. The portions are very large. We tried: mysore masala dosa, paneer manchurian, gobi manchurian, ulli rings, clay pot paneer biryani, bamboo paneer biryani, and a mango lassi. We enjoyed all of it. My personal favorites were the clay pot paneer biryani, mysore masala dosa, and paneer manchurian. The smoky flavor of the clay pot biryani was very unique and I think the best biryani I've ever had. Our food wasn't very spicy. We weren't asked how spicy we wanted anything, so I feel like they assumed we didn't want it spicy because we're American. If you like spicy food, I'd recommend asking them to make it spicy. I'm not sure what their hours actually are. They're supposed to open at 5:30, but they were closed when we got there at 6. They ended up opening about 10 minutes later though. We also ordered a curry dish that we never got. We ended up being fine with that since we had too much food already. They took it off the check for us. We were sitting around waiting for our checks, but you pay at the front, so don't make the same mistake as us! They let us split the check without any issues. While there were some service hiccups, I would definitely come back because the food was very good.
