To our delight, the bartender informed us that there had been a cancellation, and they could accommodate us for dinner. The food was fantastic! I started with the pâté, followed by the chicken and leek pie for my main course. The pie was generously filled, wonderfully creamy, and the pastry was perfectly crispy. The mashed potatoes were smooth, and the gravy was thick, just the way I like it. They also had board games available for guests to enjoy. I was disappointed that we had to leave early Sunday morning, as I didn't get the chance to try their Sunday lunch. I would definitely come back to the area just to visit this place again.
