Devine Cafe

Our group of six visited for lunch, and the experience was disappointing. I ordered a Coke and a water, but it took 20 minutes for the water to arrive. The food was served one plate at a time, and by the time the last dish came out, the first person's meal was already cold. Two of us had to ask multiple times for the sour cream and guacamole that were supposed to be included. To make matters worse, I discovered a fly in my Coke after I'd already consumed about three-quarters of it. When I went to pay, I showed the cashier, Diana, the bottle with the fly in it. She simply took the bottle and said, "Oh," before ringing up my total, without offering any apology or explanation. Overall, we were left unimpressed with both the mediocre food and the terrible customer service. We won't be coming back.

I visited this café for lunch with five friends, and I have to say, the five-star rating must have come from family members because the food was disappointing. The beef fajita meat was tough and hard to chew. My straightforward order of nachos arrived without the sour cream and guacamole that were advertised on the menu; I had to ask for them. Additionally, the nachos were overly cheesy. To make matters worse, there were flies buzzing around our food. I cannot recommend this café to anyone. I suggest going to McDonald's down the street instead. Thanks, but no thanks. I typically take photos to accompany my reviews, but honestly, the food wasn't visually appealing at all. It definitely does not deserve the single star... that's the truth!

We decided to eat here on a whim since they serve breakfast all day. The omelets and pancakes were fantastic! Plus, Norma was such a sweetheart.

My friend, her Daughter and I went to Devine Cafe today after seeing all the item they display from the Menu on Facebook. We wanted to give them a try. NEVER have we been treated so badly! From the waitresses attitude to the cashiers attitude! We wanted to try the Friday special. Waitress took our order. Comes back and tells that they ran out of steak that was part of the plate. We ask if she could substitute another enchilada for the steak. She acted like it was ok. Then comes back and tells us she didn’t think we could do that, we already got our food and started eating. We ask about the Tea Tortillas, we were then told since we didn’t get the Special, we couldn’t have Tea or Tortillas! Very disappointed, with our experience. Went to pay, we told the cashier what had transpired, she had a Go To Hell attitude. Finally she charged us the special of the day price. We told her we never got the Tea or Tortillas, she repeated cause we didn’t have the special. We asked nicely if we could have the Tea, she told us no because we’ve stopped serving for the day we don’t have any Tea. I told her that if they didn’t have food to complete the order we should have been told and we could have ordered something else. I also told I will not be returning here, I will continue to go to my Favorite Restaurant “Viva Zapata”! If these people treat their customers this way they won’t be in business long. I was shocked to be treated this way by So Called Christians!
