In a bustling tourist destination, this restaurant offers a vibrant atmosphere and enthusiastic service, enhanced by live entertainment. While the exceptional staff are a highlight, the food experiences vary significantly. Some diners rave about the quality, flavors, and reasonable prices, while others cite cold dishes and cleanliness concerns. Mixed reviews arise regarding specific menu items like tacos and burritos, which some found disappointing. Despite the fluctuations in food quality, the overall dining environment remains inviting, making it a worthwhile stop for families seeking a lively outing, though patrons are advised to explore specials for the best culinary experience.
I'm at a loss for words... The staff were fantastic and not to blame at all. However, the food was disappointing, especially considering the price. Our order got mixed up—we only wanted asada, no shrimp, but the dish had shrimp in it. Luckily, no one was allergic. Tacos were about $3.50 each. The burritos were mostly rice and beans (though the beans were lacking), with just one strip of beef. When you order a carne asada burrito, the beef should be the star flavor. It's definitely a tourist spot. I'm sure the alcoholic drinks are good, and the music was okay. Also, the skyscraper ride is right next door—great for a thrill if you’re up for it.
We ordered the steak taco dinner, taco salad, and kid’s enchiladas. Sadly, the tacos arrived ice cold, and the shells were so tough they couldn’t be eaten. The steak taco salad was very bland, seeming completely unseasoned, and the shell tasted like it was fried in old oil. On the bright side, my 7-year-old liked the ground beef enchilada and rice, and the raspberry margarita on the rocks was excellent. Our server was very friendly, which is why I gave this restaurant 3 stars.
The food was excellent. I deducted a star because of cleanliness issues—the floors were dirty, and the bathroom soap dispensers weren’t properly filled, making them difficult to use. It took us a minute to figure them out. Would we return? Yes. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and the service remained very good even when the place got busy. We arrived around 4:30 p.m., and by the time we left, the restaurant was packed.
The food was outstanding! However, I took off one star because of some cleanliness concerns. The floors were dirty, and the soap dispensers in the bathroom were not installed correctly, which made them hard to use. It took us a little while to sort that out. Would we come back? Definitely! Everyone loved their meal, and the service remained excellent even as the restaurant got busy. We arrived around 4:30 PM, and by the time we left, it was completely full.
I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant! We visited based on a recommendation and ended up waiting 10 minutes after being seated before anyone took our drink order. Just as we were about to leave, someone finally approached us. The chips we were served were stale, and the cheese dip was cold and excessively sweet. Our food arrived cold as well, including the fajitas. Overall, the food was greasy and quite disappointing. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because our waiter was exceptional. He was attending to tables all over the restaurant that had been overlooked by other staff, and he truly deserves to work in a place that appreciates his talents.
