A&w - Devils Lake

A&W combined with KFC? I have to say, I was a bit surprised. I visited on October 23, 2021, and found that the dining area was closed due to staff shortages. Despite that, the food was enjoyable, and my group left happy.

Fast friendly service and food is amazing. I got the Wisconsin Country Skillet and the only problem I had was that I left with a full stomach of delicious food

I had the best fast food burgers I've ever tried, and I tend to be pretty selective. I ordered the triple cheeseburger with fries and a root beer. While I waited for my food, I noticed some reviews complaining about long wait times. Yes, I had to wait, but it wasn’t excessive, and the burger was absolutely perfect. I’ve been around for 48 years and have tried many places. The fries were decent, which I appreciate!

Recently for lunch for a quick bite and I was surprised how good it was. Had the 5 pieces chickens with Pommes and Coleslaw and it was great. Had to wait, but the food was hot and fresh from the frit. The Koleslaw was very tasty and the biscuit warm and fluffy. The frits were fresh and crispy with the seasoning. Overall not bad and better than expected. I'm back.

Longest drive through in town. I've waited 20-40 minutes before. I will say though, one visit, the person bringing my food was amazing at his customer service skills, I'm sorry I don't remember his name. Xander maybe? Anyway, staff is friendly, drive through takes way too long if there is more than 2 cars. Food is typical A&W/KFC that you would expect.
