Description
**Dining at Wright Company: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**
Wright Company boasts a vibrant, industrial-chic atmosphere, making it a popular spot for cocktails and social gatherings. Diners rave about the excellent drink menu, with unique creations like spice melange cocktails. However, opinions on the food are polarized; while some dishes like sliders and gnocchi shine, others, such as lobster toast and leg of lamb, fall flat or disappoint due to taste or portion size. Service can be hit or miss, with attentive staff and knowledge about dietary options, but occasionally overbearing. Overall, Wright Company offers a solid experience for drinks but garners mixed reviews for its food.

I had a fantastic experience at Wright Co this evening! Our table was ready for our reservation time and we were seated promptly. The dining room was busy but had a great atmosphere. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu, including the wine list, and recommended the perfect bottle for us. He helped us navigate the menu and we ended up choosing just the right amount of food to share. We tried a variety of dishes, but the favorites were the arrinchini, gnocchi, cauliflower and nacho starters, as well as the perfectly cooked and sliced NY strip steak. I had previously been to this restaurant for brunch, but dinner was truly amazing. If you haven't been yet, be sure to add Wright Co to your list of must-try restaurants!
Back in town for Tigers Opening Day.. tried Wright Company for first time. Sat at bar.. bartenders on point, food fantastic.. recommended for you NFL Draft folks
This place is super vibey. It is industrial but sleek. There’s exposed brick and super cool ceilings. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. We were seated in a cool booth. The service was amazing where my water glass was never empty. We were well taken care of. The drinks were extraordinary. My husband loved both of his mocktails. They were legit mocktails with non alcoholic spirits which was nice to see. I had the down in Mexico and desert sun. Both were super balanced and flavorful. I love the use of mezcal. The food we got was mixed. Some plates were great and others were not as good.Pork belly sliders: these were so tasty! The pork belly was crispy, the bun was toasted perfectly, and I loved the heat from the sriracha. The lump crab and lobster toast: it was seasoned well and the bread was toasted nicely. It was not worth $30 for the amount of seafood you received. We had maybe 3 tiny pieces of lobster.Ricotta churro: this was so rich and decadent. There was way too much of it, but I liked the pepper to cut the richness. It needed something else to cut the fat.The leg of lamb: this was disappointing. The lamb was so dry and flavorless. It was super tough to eat. The crunchiness of the barley and pomegranates were nice and I liked the vinegar in the frisée.Cheesey hash browns: there was nothing cheesey about them. I expected it to be gooey and have a strong vinegar taste. It was super dense and did not have cheese in it at all.Overall we had a great experience. We would come for happy hour, but nothing that wowed us.
