Description

Tucked beneath a plaza, this intimate tea shop is a cozy, slightly dim refuge for tea aficionados, dates and small meetups. A well-curated tea menu and inventive lattes — from pistachio-honey to mushroom — are served by friendly, knowledgeable staff alongside light fare and boutique retail. Plush seating and occasional live folk music invite lingering. Caveats: the subterranean space has limited natural light, can feel chilly, and hours are sometimes inconsistent, with occasional service hiccups reported.

This charming tea shop offers a delightful selection of hot drinks. It’s located on a lower level, so be prepared to walk down some stairs. The ambiance is quaint and inviting. I visited after leaving the Museum of Contemporary Art on a Sunday afternoon, and there was a live band playing folk music, which was fantastic—complete with harmonica! I also tried the pistachio latte with honey, and it was absolutely delicious!

I sold two mugs at this restaurant in December, but I still haven't received my payment. I've left messages with two staff members and was eventually informed that I need to wait a few more weeks, even though my pottery sold in mid-December.

Atmosphere is nice and calming. I tried their mushroom latte, and it does taste like a cold brew coffee. The scone was also good, could have been heated up a tad bit more, but overall it was excellent. If you are a coffee drinker you should try out the mushroom latte. I promise you it doesn’t taste like mushrooms.

Such great tea and atmosphere here. The staff was really helpful with picking out tea. It was property brewed and served in such a cute pot and cup. Delicious. Eco-friendly. Beautiful. Definitely coming back.

Me and my boyfriend loved this place and had one of our very first dates here. however in recent years they are never open and inconsistently have their hours stated online. on 3 different occasions they have been closed when online it says they are open. for example on my birthday we were so excited to go back, we both checked the website and it said they are open weekends. but to our surprise, after driving all the way there, a small paper was taped to the door that said “closed today”. lost our business.
