I've dined here twice this week. The first time, I had a short wait, which was reasonable considering they were one staff member down and very busy. The cook managed everything really well. I went again tonight and was served quickly; the food was, once again, amazing. They even offered a free beer with my meal, which was a nice touch, although I was driving. I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered the Legenderry double burger, while my friend opted for the single patty version. Our food was ready in about 10 minutes, which I thought was impressive. The burger was tasty, but it was clear it hadn’t been cooked fresh, as it wasn’t hot when served. I visited today with my family and we enjoyed a wonderful meal. The kids had fish and chips, while we ordered gluten-free burgers, veggie burgers, and gluten-free fish served with salad and potatoes. Everything was delicious! The quality of the food was outstanding, and I had the prettiest burger I've ever seen! I can't wait to come back! x
Went to the Blackbird for Sunday lunch after seeing it advertised on your page.. absolutely loved it, have to say it's the nicest Sunday dinner I have ever had eating out.. started with curried parsnip soup, for someone that hates parsnips it was recommended by the waitress and it was beautiful. Then ordered the roast beef was totally delicious and loads on the plate wasn't much left when I was finished lol.. outstanding food and lovely staff. This was a first visit for us and definitely won't be the last. Thank you
Had a rainy walk along the Quay today and stopped for a bite to eat! Little one loved the haddock and said the chips are the best she's ever had!! I agree they were amazing!! Great food, fantastic staff and great to see everything cooked so freshly with great passion in every order and the prices are really good too! Thanks guys!

The dishes were clearly labeled as "Gluten Free," which was reassuring since my partner ordered a regular burger. I'm happy to report that I experienced no reactions or symptoms after our meal.
I had a fantastic experience at Pyke n Pommes today! I enjoyed my first gluten-free burger with a bun, along with fries cooked in a dedicated fryer. The staff were wonderful as well. I highly recommend this place!
