Primo's Dernancourt

Dropped into Primo's Dernancourt on way home last Saturday night about 8pm, hubby ordered a small pepperoni pizza , I ordered a medium cooked steak, the pizza arrived was definitely not made with pizza dough, and seemed to be Lebanese flat bread, must have ran out of pizza dough because the pizza at the table next to us looked like it was made of pizza dough. The worst pizza ever, no explanation provided as to why it was not made of pizza dough???My steak was over cooked and the seafood sauce was like water.Couldnt be bothered to complain as I thought I saw chef leaving for the night just as our meals arrived, but I was really disgusted and had to write this review.I will never visit this place again.

Every time I visited this restaurant (every weekend) I was very pleased with my food until they put a smoking table right outside the front door on the footpath, so as soon as anybody enters you get the horrible smell of stale cigarette smoke. I have not been since.

If you eat at primo ttp , don't expect anything close. I invited two quests for lunch yesterday , it was embarrassing and disappointing . 3 Mixed grill plates returned half full (poor super fatty stakes). Glasses coloured with lipstick . ZERO quality .

I've always been a bit adverse to Cafe Primo. Not that I've had any traumatic experiences but they have always been at the lower end of dining in my opinion. A great budget option but definitely not my first choice! It was my brother's birthday however, and upon his choice and the ease of location, we decided to dine at Cafe Primo in Dernancourt. From the moment we walked through the doors we were greeted happily by the staff and seen to. They happily took the cake I had made to store in the fridge. Amy took our orders and was honestly the loveliest, most friendly waitress I have experienced in a long time! Celena looked after our table all evening and was a delight to deal with. The meals were all freshly made and everyone agreed they were delicious! We had no issues at all. When it was time for the cake to come out we were brought plates, cutlery and napkins. Celena then returned to take my personal platter to clean it for me! Amy over saw everything and was even on hand straight away to clean up a spill at our table. Our whole table agreed that the service was on par with some of the best dining establishments in Adelaide. So impressive! Both Amy and Celena then farewelled us and held open the door as we left. We will definitely be back to this place. The girls made our evening. Thank you Amy and Celena for a wonderful evening! You have totally changed my opinion about Cafe Primo!

Went with family for my bday dinner, delicious food as usual, never too busy and great service. I would recommend to everyone to go there
