Stopped in on a Thursday night around 6:30pm after arriving at the orient point ferry and glad we found this gem! The owners were friendly and kind and service was great.Nicely decorated for the Holidays. The mussels in garlic and white wine outstanding. Cant go wrong with a Turkey BLT w fries. Their chicken pot pie was delicious. Sorry not photos. Highly recommend ! View all feedback.
What Wilfred Waters doesn't like about Front Street Station:
We were greeted by a terrifying wolf figure towering over customers in the far corner. Not the best thing for young kids. The salad was old, some bit of lettuce were mush. The food was otherwise lovely. Was it worth $150 including a tip? Was a bowl of plain pasta for a kid worth $10?Hell no.This place is asking about 1/3 more than what seems reasonable. Kid-friendliness: Wouldn’t say the large towering wolf figure in the... My first experience at Front Street Station was amazing. We were greeted by the owner who is a Long Island treasure. He was very attentive and courteous to our party. We felt very at home as he seated us and talked us through the history of the restaurant. The seafood was extremely fresh and delicious. We weren't rushed to turn the table and we were even encouraged to stay a while after finishing our meal. We will definitely return again!!
Oh my God! I stopped in as I missed the Orient Point Ferry and it was one of the nearest options I can find for a drink and a bite to eat! I went in and it looked like there were only tables in the restaurant, but upon further investigation there is a marvelous bar and when you see it it’s so very inviting. I had a nice conversation with the bartender and waitress…. I asked if they had soup. The bartender offered a chowder described as a mix between Manhattan clam chowder and New England clam chowder. He knew I had a ferry to catch and offered it to go. It is amazing. Please don’t leave without trying it. I look forward to a return visit. After trying the chowder and enjoying it so much I look forward to trying some of the other extensive offerings from their menu! 5 stars!Go to the Front Street Station! It’s charming! I’m so glad I stopped in!Go Go Go!!! Excellent!
A proper family owned and family friendly pub with excellent food and extremely friendly service. Eclectic decor for extra comfiness.Fries pillowy and crispy, thick cut like in Dublin. Can't really go wrong with anything you order.Thank you, Front Street!
Food was good service was good but $28 for a wedge salad with grilled chicken?!
