Comfy, clean rooms that offer all that you need for a relaxing stay after a long day's walk. Service is good however the menu that is on offer for lunch and dinner is nothing to write hone about. It offers the general pub food and portions are good but nothing special. Good range of beers and drinks available. Parking available though you need to register for this inside the hotel. What lisa doesn't like about Little John:
I visited with 4 friends tonight to try the chinese Menu . We all ordered at the same time . After 45 minutesThe first meal arrived which was wrong but my friend ate it anyway as was hungry. The 2nd meal came out 15 minutes later. The last 2 meals arrived 20 minutes later after asking twice . It would have been nice to all actually eat together . Immersed for a fast, excellent real ale. then a fellow runner told that the Sunday dinner they had here was absolutely excellent.
We were for the night in December, fabulous room and breakfast was amazing, staff a little rude.
After a gruelling days to walk, beautiful hotel, great staff and even arranged them for us to eat in a local restaurant, as their kitchen was closed and we all famished..........a great breakfast will come back
Nice place. friendly staff and friendly locals. can not wait to come back and spend a little more time here.
Have been many paintings about the years as we did it to my onkel farm in edale love it with him was dog friendly aswell
