Reviews - Bartaco
Reviews summary
Bartaco offers a lively atmosphere with a fun vibe that draws many back for repeat visits. While some diners rave about the diverse taco offerings, others find the food inconsistent, with reports of cold and pre-made dishes. The ordering system, while convenient, reduces personal interaction with servers, leaving some patrons feeling uncertain about the tipping process. Though there are standout dishes like the pork belly taco and tres leches dessert, not all items hit the mark, making it a spot worth revisiting only for certain selections. Overall, it's an experience that varies greatly among guests.

I had dinner here with my wife on Wednesday. We were there kind of early, 5pm, so we didn't have any issues being seated. I like ordering and paying straight from my phone. We started with chips, guac, and salsa. That was very good. My wife had 2tacos which she enjoyed. I had the pork belly bowl. I loved it. I wish there was a place near where I live that made thatdish. We were just driving through Denver and happened to pick this place to eat out of the blue. I'm glad we did. It wasgreat!
We went on a Sunday shortly after they opened...plenty of open seating at the time (but the traffic definitely was picking up as we left . Loved the decor and atmosphere super cute! The food was all exceptional and our hostess was delightful! We triedseveral of the street tacos, street corn and chips with guac. The tacos had some kick: Would have given a five star rating butI wasn't a huge fan of ordering from the phone I get viewing the menu from the QR code but it seemed a little less personaland even trying to order for four people a little tricky. Maybe it's just a generational thing for me
Amazing tacos and drinks. I had the pork belly and duck. The jalapeño hot sauce was excellent as well. Oh and the margarita was A+. I highly recommend. The atmosphere was pretty nice too.
All the food we ordered was delicious!! Service is impeccable and environment is very welcoming and laid back! Highly recommend!
What an amazing place, great vibe. Service was outstanding. I tried the roasted duck, the chorizo, the coconut shrimp and the glazed pork belly tacos. I enjoyed them all and had to get one more pork belly. The guacamole was also just perfect. The bartaco margarita was delicious as was the tres leches. Isaac the manager was active and made sure everything exceeded highexpectations for all guests in a busy true gem. I am so glad my buddy recommended this new favorite of mine. I only planned totry three but it was so good I had to have more. Habanero salsa also hits the spot and must be tried. Thanks again for thewonderful food!

The glazed pork belly tacos are amazing, the staff is always the best, but specifically Maikoll is ALWAYS incredible!
Honestly, one of my favorite taco places in Denver! The drinks are good, there are a lot of options on the menu and they have a decent amount of veggie options! All the employees are pretty friendly, I haven’t had a bad experience here yet.
The food here is really good. I recommend the pork belly and chicken tacos. You can substitute any taco with flour tortillas. The honeydew refresher is amazing. What I do not like here is the fact that you need to scan a QR code to view the menu and place your order. It requires you to input your phone number and sometimes it will give you an “are you a robot” test and have you fill out which squares contain a bus, etc. It becomes such a hassel just trying to order food. And don’t even begin to try having other people at your table add their order to your tab. It’s even more of a hassle. The other people then need to scan your personal QR code and verify that they are human, put their number in, etc. I just want to sit down and order food without having to solve riddles. Why do I need to give my phone number and other information? Just have a person take our order. The current system makes things tedious. Also, parking in this area is atrocious.
Found this place in Boulder and was over the moon excited to see it here in Denver too! The food here is amazing, and its like an a la carte style, with really nice prices. Love the pork tacos, street corn, fried plantains, dips chip trio, and good drinks too! Cool space and pretty large, very hands off with the scan menu and place cards, but the servers are always very attentive and will let you order via paper too. my only downside was it felt like everyone was located on one side of the restaurant, and it was the loudest of music. Of course I will be back! :

Great options including portabello mushrooms, beans and rice that you can get in any number of Mexican entree formats (bowls, tacos, etc). Good and fresh and great when dining with non-vegans.
Portobello mushroom tacos, cauliflower with vegan romanesco sauce, and falafel tacos (also with the romanesco or provided salsas. The gazpacho was vegan and excellent as well. Great atmosphere and great cocktail list. (They make their own tequilas)
I recently dined at Bartaco, a Mexican restaurant that goes beyond the typical burritos and quesadillas. The vegan tacos on the menu were packed with vibrant, fresh flavors. A particular favorite was the cauliflower taco with romesco sauce – both light and fulfilling. They also offered vegan-friendly salads, and the guacamole was incredibly tasty. I just couldn't get enough of it!
I tried the vegan tacos at Bartaco and they were delicious. The options included cauliflower, falafel, and mushroom, with the mushroom being our least favorite. Overall, all the tacos were flavorful, and you can easily order them without cheese or tzatziki.

There are some vegan tacos and they were delicious. There was a cauliflower, falafel and the mushroom that was our least favorite. You were all good, but you just have to order without cheese or tzatziki
Fantastic atmosphere and great food and drinks options. Friendly, knowledgeable servers our arranged the plantains made dessert style for a vegan dessert and it turned out great!
