This restaurant offers a mixed experience with both positive and negative aspects. While the food is generally good with many options to choose from, there are notable issues with the service quality. Some customers have complained about small portion sizes, slow service, and extra charges on the bill. However, the atmosphere is often praised, especially when there is live music playing. The gluten-free options are highlighted as a positive aspect, along with specific menu items such as the steak, chicken, and goat cheese appetizer. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential but may need to address consistency in both food quality and service standards to fully impress its customers.

Was Mekhi Kovacek at Appaloosa Grill a mag?
Good food, great service! We ordered the baked goat cheese as an appetizer and it was wonderful! I'd definitely order again! My husband ordered the steak and veggies with shrimp on the side and I had the Maine lobster roll with truffle fries. Both were very tasty! I ordered the lemon drop with dinner and he had the paper plane, they paired great! The restaurant was busy, but we got received our food in a very timely... View all feedback.
What King Abshire dislikes about Appaloosa Grill:
It is hard to give this restaurant a straightforward review. We came on a night where apparently they have been closed 1 month prior. They were quick to seat us and take our order. Great experience, great food. The bison burger was really good but it also was still a burger. The lobster roll was amazing and I highly recommend the Goat cheese and the brussel sprouts
Food: 4/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Service: 1/5 Honest Review Food and drinks are good here. Cool atmosphere too with live music. Would recommend only coming here if you don't have any plans afterwards, because the service just isn't good. Fortunately, it makes up for some of it with having above average food and drinks. Edit: Cool place to listen to music, but Henry's across the street is typically a better bet if you only have an hour or so and plan on getting a few drinks.
Amazing food!!! Our service was very friendly! I forgot her name..but she is from Florida, like us Our food was delicious
Had lunch at a downtown Denver spot. Service and drinks were great, but the food was hit or miss. Mistakenly ordered a dish that was only fat and no meat, then a small but tasty filet. The vibe was casual, which I liked, but felt the prices were too high for the experience. Spent over $100 and left feeling not quite satisfied. Decent place, but won't return due to the cost.
Adds auto 20% service charge to bill and then server asks for tio
