I was surprised when he came out dressed casually in shorts and a t-shirt, claiming that the steak was aged (it wasn't) and angrily stating that he had been cooking since he was 21. I told him not to lecture me on how to cook a steak. Before leaving, I told him he was the rudest and most arrogant chef I had ever encountered. He then left the kitchen to tell me not to return, using offensive language right in front of my four-year-old daughter. He also insulted my friend by ensuring he had paid for the meal. Dave's rudeness, his inability to accept constructive criticism, and his inappropriate behavior in front of my young daughter reflect poorly on him and cast a shadow over the reputation of Castelli.
We ordered two steaks, a medium rare and a medium. both of them came on. the cut was approx. 1-1,5cm and parts were rare/blue. when he was challenged, the chef said that they cooked their medium-sized rare steaks! for the middle order, they gave mistakes, but served the same piece steak cooked a bit more. I've never seen a good restaurant that a steak that they haven't properly prepared, took on, they always serve a new one. the waitress also did not know how to pour a bottle of wine was completely poured into 5 glasses. immediately fail for a weingut. the lammregal was slightly over boiled for medium rare, but still nice. ribbed were delicious. so all the time did not go hungry to home, but will not be back in a hurry
I just popped open a bottle of Il Liris Chardonnay with some special people, and I'm so glad I still have five more of this exquisite wine saved for future enjoyment. Without a doubt, it ranks among the most delightful wines in Australia—not just in the Chardonnay category. A big thank you to the team who guided us through the wine tasting; without your assistance, I might have overlooked this gem. Service: 5, Location: 5.
