The venue was beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious. Claire, our waitress, was friendly and helpful. The only downside was when the chef became quite rude when we inquired about paying separately. Claire had everything handled, but the chef came out of the kitchen and was confrontational with both her and us. Great spot which is not too far from the pretty town of Denmark. Friendly service, great food and wine. Worth a visit to enjoy this special place. We will be back.
Great wine. Service was a little brisk but product sells it. We have been 3 different years with the same experience, carton under arm.
Riesling and Chardonnay wines are very nice. Lunch of seared scallops on a pea mash and beef cheeks on mash was excellent.
