The pr... read more We love stopping by Las Olas and hanging out with our German and Spanish friends. Vincente and his family have always been wonderful, accomodating hosts. The prices are excellent and the the food is tasty, especially the bocadillos and pizzas. Vincente goes all out on occasion. His puchero is the stuff of legends, and I still have pleasant dreams about the lamb shank he served on Christmas Eve.

Walking bac... read more Came back to Denia this year after two years and went straight to look for Vincenzo and our favourite bar. Gutted to find it all closed up and gone. Walking back to our apartment and delighted to find he has moved over the road into new premises! Service still the same, very friendly but this bar is four times the size and they are now doing great food. Vincenzo is now being helped full time by his wife who does most of the cooking just finishing off four months travelling round Spain and her paella is by far the best we have had (and best value). Also great to meet their daughter and two sons who are also helping out in the bar. Whole place is spotless and they are trying very hard in this new venture. We wish them all good luck and highly recommend a visit if you are in the area
