Very good service and a restaurant with sea views. the very rich food, we ate incoming debris (puntillite) and melose rice with bogavante. from dessert a browni... read more Very good service and a restaurant with sea views. the very rich food, we ate incoming debris (puntillite) and melose rice with bogavante. from dessert a brownie (I didn't love it, it seemed very like a biscuit) and cheese cake in the very rich oven. important to reserve in advance the only unfavourable point is that the rice with the bogavante seemed to us little rice for the two people we were despite asking for two.

The location is exceptional, perched on the cliff the end of La Rotas you feel like you are on a ship not a terrace. The view is magnificent, the sea and the Montgo surround you. It's always busy however the staff are friendly and engaging. Mena is a family run restaurant and you can feel the warmth! We visited several times over the summer and nothing we ordered disappointed. The bacalao tempura fritters and scallop monkfish melloso stand outs. The carrot cake with chocolate sauce is an absolute knock out!! Excellent wine list well priced.

Many years ago pricing was very high for good quality. Nowadays I believe the pricing is more appropriate and the quality got better. I believe there was a generation change in leadership some years back that helped the place, which often is rather the opposite. Keep up the good work and I'll continue to be a regular customer every time I'm in town.
