Bologna sandwich with fries was on the special board, and I asked if it was fried. Answer: DEEP fried or grilled. Now I am intrigued. I had an eager look on my face, and I was assured, Honey, deep fried is the way to go. I added an over-medium egg, cheese and mustard. The fries came out fast, and could have used another minute in the fryer for my preference. But they were krinkle cut which I always enjoy. And the paper boat held WAY more than I expected or needed. And then the sandwich arrived on a tiny paper. Unpretentious yet magnificent! The bologna edges had crisped to perfection. The mustard, egg yolk and American cheese blended to golden bliss as I enjoyed this sandwich. The server was very friendly to our table of obviously out-of-towners. I am pretty sure the staff knew all the other customers by name. I debated on the 5-star review, but the place is a dive bar with good food. So I would want others to come after me to know it isn 't fine dining. Going in, knowing what to expect will give others a good chance of enjoying this establishment!

The kitchen is right in front of you and it makes me comfortable knowing that I can see how my food is being made. Love three open kitchen!! Now the server/bartender/busboy/everything (she was working alone) she was great!!! Fast service and friendly, the reason you come to small mom and pop places like this. I would strongly recommend this place!!!
